Bill Clinton Rips GOP And Media A New One For Hammering Hillary On Her Email-Gate

Bill Clinton is making clear that he is not pleased about the way the media and the GOP have been treating his wife, Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Presidential front runner, as she is working her way through a second presidential run toward the White House.

The often-celebrated former President of the United States, Bill Clinton, called out congressional Republicans and a news media that he sees as being overzealous about his wife Hillary Clinton’s private, but suspect, email server, saying that all the focus on Hillary’s emails is “unwarranted,” and nothing more than political attacks against his Democratic presidential candidate wife, Hillary Clinton, a candidate that Republicans don’t want to run against, reports the Huffington Post.

“I have never seen so much expended on so little,” Bill Clinton reportedly tells CNN‘s Fareed Zakaria in an upcoming interview, scheduled to run Sunday.

During the upcoming interview, Bill Clinton pulls no punches on Republicans who he says continue to make a big deal out of Hillary’s alleged email scandal in an effort to destroy her presidential campaign.

“The other party doesn’t want to run against her, and if they do, they’d like her as mangled up as possible. And they know that if they leak things and say things that that is catnip to the people who get bored talking about what’s your position on student loan relief or dealing with the shortage of mental health care or what to do with the epidemic of prescription drugs and heroin out in America, even in small towns in rural America, or how you’re going to get jobs into coal country given how much they’ve lost in the last 20 years.”

This of course isn’t the first time Bill and Hillary Clinton have experienced political turmoil and negative political accusations, Bill Clinton citing a Republican attack focused on himself and Hillary since his 1990s tenure as President.

“We’re seeing history repeat itself,” Bill Clinton reflected, underlining his belief that the current attacks on his wife Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign are totally bogus.

At the same time, Bill Clinton isn’t totally negative against the media and their coverage of his potential presidential wife, Hillary Clinton, saying the media does contribute some positive Clinton coverage, but could do better.

“There have been a lot of really fine things,” said Bill. “It’s just that they don’t seem to show up on television very much.”

Regardless, Hillary Clinton remains a serious 2016 presidential contender.
