Jessica Simpson Shows Off Baby Maxwell [Photo]

Jessica Simpson and soon-to-be husband Eric Johnson recently gave birth to baby Maxwell Drew Johnson and now Jessica Simpson is showing her baby off to the world.

People Magazine scored the first exclusive photos of baby Maxwell, reportedly at a massive cost of $800,000.

Talking to the celebrity mag Simpson says of her new bundle of joy:

“We stare at her all the time. We can’t get enough!” while she adds, “Life has completely changed. From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!”

With Jessica Simpson giving birth on May 1, 2012 the first photos feature a baby Maxwell who is less than 4 weeks old.

If you think $800,000 is a ton of cash to earn for the birth of a baby you’re right, however some sources estimate that Simpson will earn upwards of $14 million annually by announcing a new line of baby products and signing a new reality TV show contract that could be worth $5 million.

Simpson as a weight watchers spokeswoman also earns $33,000 for every pound she loses.

Little baby Maxwell was born by way of a C-section and Simpson tells the magazine that recovering from the surgery while nursing was not easy but she feels grateful for the support of her fans.

“We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers. This has been the greatest experience of our lives!”

Congrats to Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson, for having a baby and for netting $800,000 for a few pictures people will forget about five minutes after viewing them.
