WWE Rumors: One Superstar Returning Soon And Another Offered Too Little Money To Come Back
WWE currently has a huge roster and always have more to bring up with the developmental talents in NXT. Still, there are some superstars off doing other things. One is returning soon while another star from the past may not be coming back as soon as originally thought. Bad News Barrett appears to be on a track back to WWE, and Carlito is looking for more than what was originally offered.
Bad News Barrett — or King Barrett or Wade Barrett — has been off filming a movie for WWE Studios called Eliminators. The action-thriller also starred Scott Adkins, who has been in countless other action films. Filming has since wrapped.
Cageside Seats is reporting that Barrett is expected to return to WWE television soon, but it isn’t known exactly when. It also isn’t known what persona he will come back to TV, as for it could be his “Bad News” gimmick or King Barett, which is what he was when written off television at the end of August.
About a week ago, Barrett tweeted out a pic about filming wrapping up, and he’s since been doing some promotional work as well.

It’s going to be interesting to see Barrett back and see what gimmick he comes back under and if he is a face or heel. Last he was seen, he was written off after being attacked by Stardust and not much else was said about it.
Barrett will add to the mid-card, which is chock-full of great talent right now, and it seems like WWE is trying to add another from the past. Rumors have been floating around that Carlito is going to be returning to the company, but it may not happen as soon as everyone thought.
WrestleZone is reporting that Carlito did receive an offer from WWE, but it was one that he had to turn down because the money was very low. Of course, this hasn’t been confirmed by WWE or Carlito, but it also doesn’t mean that talks are dead yet.
It appears as if Carlito may have been coming in to work with Los Matadores, who are being repackaged and getting a gimmick change. Any talk of what Carlito will be doing in WWE will have to wait until he at least gets an offer he’s happy with, though.
The WWE mid-card is really good right now, with Kevin Owens and John Cena holding the Intercontinental and U.S. Titles, respectively. Throw in Cesaro, Rusev, Dolph Ziggler, Stardust, and others and it would be made even strong with Bad News Barrett and Carlito returning.
