Kaley Cuoco Divorce: ‘Big Bang’ Actress, Ryan Sweeting Split After 21 Months Of Marriage

Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting are getting a divorce. After several months of rumors about their failing marriage, it turns out that there was actually some truth in there despite the couple’s constant denials.

According to People Magazine, the couple released a joint statement through a rep. The 29-year-old Big Bang Theory actress and the 28-year-old tennis pro made the mutual decision to split recently. They, of course, have asked for privacy as they go through this trying time in their lives.

“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”

What is really interesting is that Kaley Cuoco recently taped an interview in which she opened up about her marriage to Ryan Sweeting, and talked about how her ex-boyfriend, actor Johnny Galecki, and her husband got along so well. It all went down on Sept. 20 when Kaley sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live!

According to Us Weekly, Kaley Cuoco seemed really happy to discuss her relationship with both men, and it is hard to even think that her marriage was sour at the time of the interview.

“Well, we dated like five years ago, so I think we both moved on. Johnny is actually one of my best friends. It’s a situation that ended well. I understand sometimes it doesn’t. It could have gone horrible. He’s one of my dearest friends. Ryan loves him. Johnny loves him. It’s been a long time, so it’s great. I got lucky! That could have been horrible,” she told Cohen.

Ironically (or not), Kaley and Johnny’s Big Bang Theory characters, Leonard and Penny, tied the knot on the season premiere of the show this week.

Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting would have celebrated their second wedding anniversary on Dec. 31. The two dated for a very short time before tying the knot, and both seemed to be very much in love since the moment they met. No word on why the two decided to go their separate ways, but surely there will be rumors popping up on the internet in the coming days. The most likely rumor to heat up? A reignited romance between Kaley and Johnny — he is rumored to be single at the moment.
