Ivanka Trump Triumphantly Announces Third Pregnancy, Giving Donald Trump Eight Reasons To Play Grandpa Card In GOP Race
Ivanka Trump just revealed that she is pregnant for the third time. Ivanka, the daughter of presidential candidate Donald Trump, shared her baby bump bliss on social media, reported USA Today.
Revealing that baby number three will arrive in the spring, Ivanka followed in Daddy Trump’s footsteps by turning her pregnancy announcement into a major publicity coup with a carefully curated video along with her post.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to share the news with you that I am expecting,” shared Ivanka. “#TeamIvanka helped me put together a little video to announce baby number three…we wound up having such a fun time in the five hilarious minutes that we were filming, that I had to share the moments that didn’t make the cut.”
Married to Jared Kushner, who followed his own family’s lead by entering the real estate world, Ivanka initially was a model prior to becoming a businesswoman herself. Trump and Jared have a daughter named Arabella and a son named Joseph.
The expecting mom also tweeted her baby news.
“I’m beyond excited to announce that Baby No. 3 will be arriving this Spring!” tweeted Ivanka, an announcement promptly retweeted by papa Trump.
The arrival of his daughter’s newest baby will give her father a total of eight grandchildren.
In addition to looking forward to her third baby, Ivanka just may be dreaming of spending a night or two with her children in the White House if Trump achieves his goal.
At 33, Ivanka has done more than learn how to use social media from Trump. Her billionaire businessman papa has also made her an executive in his company and given her the chance to show her television charisma on The Apprentice. Trump has put her on his campaign team as well.
So how are Ivanka’s children reacting to the news that they’ll have a sibling? She revealed that Arabella hopes for a sister, while Joseph wants a brother. And Trump also confessed that bribery is part of her mothering tools in order to persuade her son to participate in the baby announcement video.
“I had to resort to bribery to get Joseph to cooperate. I usually try to feed my kids healthy food, but I gave Joseph his first lollipop ever in exchange for his best behavior.”
Ivanka emphasized that family trumps work, saying that her family is the focus for her life, and that she and Jared are both grateful and thrilled.
In all, Donald has five children, but Ivanka ranks as Trump’s oldest. He and Ivana also had two sons, while he had a daughter with Marla Maples, his second wife. Trump’s current wife, Melania, added to his flock with a boy.
Donald Jr. has provided his dad with five grandchildren.
But when it comes to campaign advantages in terms of getting the sympathy vote from other grandparents, Trump isn’t the only one in the current race, pointed out CNN.
Hillary Clinton has frequently referred to her status as a grandma during her own campaign speeches. Other grandparents in the race are Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Mike Huckabee, and George Pataki.
