Gwen Stefani Dating Rumors ‘Completely Untrue,’ Gwen Teams With Urban Decay For Edgy New Makeup Line [Video]

Rumors that Gwen Stefani is dating Blake Shelton are “completely untrue,” a rep for Stefani confirmed with Page Six this week.

Rumors began surfacing this week that the “Harijuku Girl” singer was dating Shelton and the pair were searching for a house together, but the gossip was squashed just as fast as it appeared. Stefani and Shelton work together on the hit television show, The Voice, and after both were divorced this summer, rumors began circulating about a potential romance.

According to Page Six, celebrity magazine Life & Style reported that “[e]veryone on [The Voice] set sees that Blake and Gwen are falling for one another,” although a source revealed to Page Six that “It’s The Voice, not Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours sessions.” The source was referring to the rumors of alleged infidelities that surrounded Fleetwood Mac.

Gwen Stefani was married to soon-to-be ex-husband Gavin Rosdale for 13 years, while Blake Shelton is coming off a recent divorce from Miranda Lambert. While Stefani is still in the midst of her split, Shelton was divorced quickly, the singer confessed. According to the celebrity, he was divorced in “a nine- or 10-day waiting period” because “Miranda and I didn’t have any kids, and we had a prenuptial agreement.”

While Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are rumored to be at odds over accusations that Rossdale was cheating, Blake has admitted that he and Miranda are “going to be cool about this, it is what it is…We’re buddies,” reports Page Six.

Despite the turmoil surrounding her love life, Gwen Stefani has teamed up with cosmetics brand Urban Decay to collaborate on a “colorful, fun limited-edition makeup collection,” reports the International Business Times. The new makeup line will launch on November 22, and marks the first time Urban Decay has partnered with a celebrity.

Wende Zomnir, founder of Urban Decay, told International Business Times that from the conception of her makeup company, she wanted to work with Gwen Stefani. She met Stefani through a mutual friend, explaining it “took 19 years” to get in contact with Gwen, “but it happened.”

Both Urban Decay and Gwen Stefani haven’t spilled the beans about the new makeup line, but have hinted it will include bright, bold colors, and will be quintessentially “Gwen” with edgy, heavy metal-inspired eyeliners, reports International Business Times.

Gwen Stefani has had a hand in every aspect of the new limited-edition collection, working closely with Urban Decay on not just the look and feel of the makeup, but also the formulas and packaging. Zomnir revealed that Gwen even involved her regular makeup artist to get the new line just right.

Stefani reportedly has been a long time fan of Urban Decay,. According to International Business Times, Stefani, who has her own clothing and fragrance lines, said Urban Decay matches her aesthetic, and she is reportedly excited about the collaboration.

Gwen Stefani has said she believes that the Urban Decay brand stands for “creative self-expression,” and “not being afraid to go outside of the box,” and reflects her own love of makeup.
