Kim Zolciak Instagram Post About Her Stroke, Loss Of Speech After ‘DWTS’

Kim Zolciak has certainly had a wild ride as of late, and the star’s Instagram account proves what a rough go she’s had of life. Previously, Zolciak made online buzz as one of the celebrity fans of waist trainers, but now Kim is making the news due to a mini-stroke Zolciak says she suffered that numbed her on one side and robbed her of speech temporarily.

On her kimzolciakbiermann Instagram account, Kim can be seen lying in a hospital bed with a hospital gown on and all the accouterments of EKG and other fare. In the description, Zolciak talks about her wild ride.

“The last 24hrs have been whirlwind! I landed yesterday morning from LAX (took the red eye right after DWTS) I got home and within minutes suffered a TIA (mini stroke) the left side of my body went completely numb and my speech was gone. Extremely grateful for @sladeosborne @briellebiermann @nikitpressley @kroybiermann for quick reactions! I have 100% of my feeling back THANK GOD. Still in the hospital but I just know I’m getting released today! #CrazyAgeDoesntMatter“

Zolciak doesn’t delve into the reasons behind the mini-stroke, and one wonders if the stress of her crazy lifestyle, with plenty of children, pets, and a hectic TV schedule, added to Kim’s stress. Adding to that being on DWTS, which is known for a heavy practicing schedule and dance routine practices that can last for hours and cause participants to drop plenty of pounds fast, one could see how Zolciak might be a prime candidate for a stroke.

Zolciak’s Instagram fans are happy that Kim’s okay and that she was able to regain her feeling after being numb. As reported by the Daily Mail, Zolciak thanked her husband and children for their fast reactions to help her during her stroke. Plenty of those on Instagram are telling Kim to take a break from all the traveling and get some rest.

“When life deals an obstacle like this just know that the most important thing in this world is always your family maybe it’s your warning signs to spend more time with family which are the most precious everything else can just take a back seat. God bless you always.”
