Lohan Tanning Bill of $40K Unpaid, Starlet Pursued By Salon to Settle Bill

If Lindsay Lohan’s tanning bill of forty damn thousand dollars didn’t cost the actress enough in sun damage, it also seems to be further tarnishing her already-battered public image.

Lohan’s tanning bill is only the latest high-profile problem to plague the former Mean Girls star, who has had a heckuva time getting her career and life together after a string of high-profile legal and work issues have depleted her fortune, created an unstable PR situation and essentially prevented her from working to repair her damaged career.

Lohan’s $40,000 tanning bill is with Nevada outfit Tanning Vegas, but it wasn’t in recent years Lohan tanned her fair-haired derrière into bronzed submission. The massive tanning debt is an old one, racked up between 2007 and 2009, and before Lohan entered into her own tanning company, Sevin Nyne.

And in fact, it’s not even Lindsay Lohan’s first tanning-related lawsuit. The starlet was sued back in the late 00’s by a Florida chemist for a host of civil claims related to what the woman said was basically theft of trade secrets during the development of Lohan’s tanning line, Sevin Nyne.

Of Lohan’s tanning bill with Tanning Nevada, TMZ reports that the star was ordered nearly a year ago to pay her five-figure tanning bill- and says that she has not, perhaps predictably, kept current with that obligation:

“It’s been 9 months since a Nevada judge ordered Lindsay to pay the $40,000 bill to the salon and — surprise, she hasn’t paid a cent. Now the salon is trying to get the matter moved to California, so it can attach Lindsay’s assets to satisfy the judgment.”

Lohan has not commented on the tanning bill controversy.
