Kate Gosselin’s Ex-Boyfriend Jeff Prescott: Kate Was Using Me For Reality TV Show

Was Kate Gosselin only using ex-boyfriend Jeff Prescott for ratings on her TLC reality TV show? Jeff allegedly believes that Kate used him not for his millions of dollars, but for her own career and financial gain.

According to TMZ, Jeff Prescott allegedly thought he was in a real relationship with Kate Gosselin, but he learned that she only wanted him to appear on this season of Kate Plus 8 as her love interest to boost ratings for the show.

The report reveals that Jeff agreed to appear on the show a few months ago, but when he realized what Kate had planned, he refused to do it and broke up with the mother of eight. The two are no longer on speaking terms.

The Hollywood Gossip reports that Jeff ended the relationship after Kate began bossing him around on set. Their split was announced earlier this month, and Kate’s ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, allegedly was thrilled that Kate had been dumped and that her reality TV plans had been crushed.

After Kate Gosselin and Jeff Prescott’s breakup was announced, Jon Gosselin allegedly took to his Facebook account to celebrate the news. The father of Kate’s eight children posted a link to an article revealing the split between Kate and Jeff along with an emoji called hallelujah hands, seemingly praising Jeff for ending the relationship with the TLC reality star.

However, according to Reality TV World, Jon Gosselin denies poking fun at his ex-wife’s failed relationship.

“I have teenage kids now who are on social media. They read everything, and the last thing I’m going to do is trash their mother.”

Jon and Kate Gosselin were married for 10 years, from 1999-2009, and share eight children together, Cara and Maddy, 14, and Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel, and Leah, 11. The family shot to fame after being featured in a TLC special about their unusually big family, which later led to the reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8.

The couple’s marriage made tabloids, when they decided to divorce and rumors of Jon cheating and Kate being a monster mom surfaced. The pair have seemingly been at war since and have criticized each other nearly every chance they’ve gotten.

Most recently, the pair started a battle over their 11-year-old daughter, Hannah, who allegedly wanted to leave her mom Kate’s home and live with her father, Jon.
