Nick Viall Questions Future With ‘The Bachelor’ Franchise: ‘I’m Just Smart About It’

Nick Viall has been dumped twice on national television. Maybe Viall knew that he wouldn’t be the one when Andi Dorfman was picking her final man on The Bachelorette, but Nick had no idea that Kaitlyn Bristowe was leaning towards Shawn Booth. He was convinced that he was the one for her, and that she felt the same way. Sadly, Nick got his heart broken, and he was furious in the moment, because he felt betrayed.

But in that moment, Nick Viall changed the country’s mind about him. Many felt that he had only gone on the show to be on television, especially since returning for the second time. But Nick revealed that he truly liked Kaitlyn and he proved it in the end by almost getting down on one knee.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Nick Viall is now revealing that he will probably distance himself from the Bachelor franchise going forward. Apparently, Viall doesn’t think that reality television is in his future.

“I think my time with The Bachelor franchise — although I have no regrets — my guess is that it’s probably past,” Nick revealed in an interview with Wetpaint Entertainment, revealing that he isn’t planning on returning to The Bachelor franchise — at all!

“I don’t see myself doing Bachelor in Paradise. I love it too much as a fan to ever be on it,” Nick Viall revealed during the interview, adding that he would be open to other opportunities, like Dancing With The Stars, admitting, “it would be a lot of fun.”

In other words, Nick isn’t completely done with reality television. But after two failed proposals, one can imagine that he is done with the whole “trying to get engaged on television” approach. As Viall mentioned, he would be open to other opportunities. It truly depends on what those opportunities are.

“Whatever situations come my way, I like to look at what those options are and take it each individually,” Nick Viall explains, adding, “Is it worth the risk? What’s the commitment? Things like that. I’m very open, I’m just smart about it.”

It is very possible that Nick is over Kaitlyn. It has been months since she and Shawn Booth got engaged, and they have been enjoying life together. But earlier in the spring, Nick gushed about Kaitlyn, according to Us Weekly.

“Kaitlyn is the total package. She will be just fine,” Nick Viall revealed on Twitter, adding, “I like how Kaitlyn carries herself.”
