Corey Simms’ Wife Remains At Odds With Leah Messer On ‘Teen Mom 2’: Affair To Blame?
Corey Simms’ wife, Miranda, and his ex-wife, Leah Messer, are seen at odds during the upcoming finale of Teen Mom 2 Season 6, and according to a September 22 report by Radar Online, their feud may be due to Corey Simms’ alleged affair with Messer at the end of last year.
“I’m just so nervous. I hope I’m ready for this conversation, because I don’t feel like I am,” Messer tells her two friends as she travels to speak with Corey Simms after returning home from treatment.
Then, when Messer sees Miranda is with her ex-husband, Corey Simms, she exclaims, “This is f***ed up!”
Although Corey Simms’ rumored affair with Messer, the mother of his 5-year-old twins, has not yet been discussed on the show, In Touch Weekly reported news of their alleged hookup earlier this month.
“Leah recently had sex with [Corey Simms] in the back of his work truck. She was just supposed to meet with him to talk about their daughters, not have sex!”
Just hours after the magazine’s report, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup claimed Messer and Corey Simms’ reported rendezvous didn’t actually happen “recently,” but rather took place in late 2014, while Messer was still married to her second husband, Jeremy Calvert (Calvert filed for divorce in November 2014).
Ahead of their rumored affair, Corey Simms had reportedly downloaded an app, which allowed him to communicate with Messer without wife Miranda knowing.
“[Corey Simms] regrets it, especially since Miranda is pregnant now,” The Ashley‘s source explained. “But he had been talking to Leah for a while, so they both knew what they were doing. It wasn’t just a random mistake. But Miranda forgave him.”
Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, tied the knot in June 2013, two years after his divorce from Messer was finalized, and in January, they are expecting their first child together. Meanwhile, Messer’s divorce from Calvert was finalized this past June, and since April, she’s been linked to her personal trainer, T.R. Dues.
Corey Simms and Messer’s relationship has been strained throughout season six of Teen Mom 2, mainly because of his allegations of Messer’s “drug problem.” According to Corey Simms, Messer is addicted to something, and he doesn’t feel his 5-year-old tins are safe driving with her. Still, he and Miranda have yet to gain full custody of the twins, as they’ve requested.
