Latin and ballroom dancer Derek Hough has been soaking up the spotlight with his latest Emmy Award and a triumphant Week 2 of Dancing With The Stars, putting celebrity partner Bindi Irwin through her paces.

Amid the glitter of the sixty-seventh annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 20 at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles, California, Derek Hough won the Emmy for Outstanding Choreography. The award, which reflected his successful work with Dancing With The Stars, he shared with his sister, Juliana Hough, and Tessandra Chavez.

He made his first appearance on D.W.T.S. in season four as a guest instructor along with sister Julianne Hough. By season five, he was absorbed into the cast of professional instructors for the show.
