Jennifer Aniston: Husband Hated Keeping The Wedding A Secret

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux kept the media guessing for months about when their big day would be, and speculation ran rampant among rumors that they were already having relationship issues. Now, Theroux says the only issue was that he hated having to keep the wedding a secret.

“I wouldn’t say it was fun to plan. Part of the fun of planning a wedding is telling people, and we had to keep it under wraps,” Justin Theroux told New York Daily News.

The couple stayed mum on when and where the wedding would take place, and managed to throw everyone off the scent, tying the knot at their Bel-Air home in August with just a few friends and family in attendance. When asked how they managed to pull it off, Aniston was sly.

“Where there’s a great will, there’s a way. It can be done,” she told Access Hollywood.

Despite the pressure the couple undoubtedly felt leading up to the big day, Justin said recently that immediately after the ceremony he felt calm.

“I noticed it almost immediately. It was like your blood pressure goes down two PSI. It’s not like life is completely different. It’s a beautiful thing.”

Jennifer Aniston said in 2013 that they weren’t rushing themselves, in part because they wanted to do it at a time that was right in their careers but also because they had been together so long they already felt like a married couple.

“We just want to do it when it’s perfect and we’re not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job. And you know, we already feel married,” Jennifer Aniston said.

Jennifer recently told Women’s Wear Daily that she was proud of Justin after he appeared on the cover of Details Magazine for his turn on the hit HBO show The Leftovers.

“I commend him for his courage. This is not normal for him. He’s so graceful and utterly kind and golden… It is amazing. He’s just so beautiful and handsome to me, and I love that his eyeballs are so beautifully captured because those eyes just knock me out every day. He just gets better every year. He’s just like a lost gem in the sand, and he’s just always been there and been brilliant, and now this is just in a different light,” Jennifer Aniston said.
