WWE Rumors: Hall Of Famer And Legend Says He Could Wrestle Again If He Wanted To – WOOOO!

When you end up in the WWE Hall of Fame, it’s often thought that your in-ring career is over and you’re going to relish in being a wrestling legend. Well, that isn’t always the truth as sometimes it’s hard to break old habits and a wrestler thinks he could still go in the ring no matter his age or his physical being. It’s kind of hard to tell Ric Flair he’s not allowed to wrestle if he really wants to, and he thinks he could.

Even though Flair’s daughter Charlotte is in the spotlight perhaps the biggest match of her career coming up at Night of Champions on Sunday, Ric is also in the press. Flair was on WrestleZone Daily and spoke of if he’s done with his in-ring career.

“If I wanted to wrestle I can wrestle. If they wanted me to get slammed off the top rope by Sting next week, I can do it. I’m ready to go.

Ric Flair is 66-years-old and he hasn’t actually wrestled in years, but that doesn’t mean he can’t go. For anyone who has ever seen him wrestle, they honestly would have to believe that he could possibly wrestle again if needed or if he wanted to do so.

Sting being in WWE is huge for the company and huge for the wrestling industry as a whole. Flair also spoke of his love for Sting as a wrestler and as a person, and just how happy he is that the icon finally made it into WWE.

“I love Sting, he’s a great guy. He’s a wonderful person and a big part of my life. I’m not surprised he’s in the WWE. I encouraged him to go years ago. He deserves it for all his hard work. Let me tell you something, there is not a nicer person in the world than Sting. Steve Borden is the nicest kid in the world. Whatever he is getting he deserves. You know, everybody, kinda like me, you don’t want to make the move, you’re in a good place, making money… but there is nothing like working for the WWE. He wants to have a couple more matches and be in the Hall of Fame, which he deserves. He’s a great kid, a great father and just a wonderful person.

It should come as no surprise that Flair has such affection for Sting. They had countless and legendary feuds in WCW, and the two faced off in the last ever match on the final WCW Monday Nitro after WWE purchased the company.

Flair is still active with WWE as was evident this past week on Monday Night Raw as recapped by WWE. His daughter Charlotte won the Divas Title, but a technicality reversed the decision. Now, she will face off with Nikki Bella at Sunday’s Night of Champions in a rematch, and you can bet that her dad will be there.

Ric Flair wrestling again is something that likely wouldn’t shock long-time wrestling fans, but some newer and more casual fans may think he’s out of his mind. If ever you’ve seen Ric Flair in the ring, then being out of his mind is something that may very well be true. Still, the world would love to maybe see him in the ring just one more time.
