Is Jill Duggar Pregnant Again? Derrick Dillard Shares Some Really Exciting News

Is Jill Duggar pregnant? Although she recently gave birth to her first child, 19 Kids And Counting fans were curious because she and her husband, Derrick Dillard, teased some huge news recently. According to People Magazine, however, the reality stars are not having another baby — but they do have other exciting news to share with their fans.

Jill is officially a certified midwife!

“As of Wednesday, Sept. 16, and after the seven-hour comprehensive exam for certified professional midwives, she is now ‘Jill Dillard, CPM.’ I am so proud of her for her diligence, perseverance, and hard work to see this long road through to its end and reaching her goal of becoming a CPM,” Derrick posted on the family’s website. “Now begins the fruit of that labor, that is, having a valuable skill and ‘tool in the tool belt’ to use for the furthering of God’s Kingdom,” he also wrote.

Jill Duggar will be using her new accomplishment to help others while doing mission work in Central America. According to Us Weekly, this really is a highlight in the Duggar family given the recent string of negativity that has followed them around. As the magazine highlights, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s eldest son, Josh, has been at the center of two scandals in recent months.

First, Josh admitted to sexually molesting young girls back when he was a teenager. A short time later, Josh Duggar’s name was included in the Ashley Madison leak, and he admitted to being unfaithful to his wife.

“He later admitted that he had ‘acted inexcusably’ and was ‘extremely sorry.’ Later, Jill and her younger sister Jessa stepped forward as two of his five victims. Both women have said they have forgiven their brother… [Josh] released a statement admitting that he was addicted to porn and had cheated on his wife, Anna, with whom he has four young children.”

Josh Duggar has since entered a rehab facility, and his wife, Anna Duggar, is dealing with the aftermath while raising the couple’s four children together.

Jill Duggar and Derrick Dillard left on their mission a couple of weeks ago, seeming to get out of dodge just at the right time. They have remained focused on their family, and have clearly distanced themselves from the drama, which many feel is a smart idea.

19 Kids And Counting was recently canceled by TLC following the scandals involving Josh Duggar.
