Ellen Page Posts Intimate PDA Photo With Girlfriend Samantha Thomas
Following her very public coming out speech last year, Ellen Page has decided to step out with her girlfriend Samantha Thomas.
According to the Inquisitr, Ellen Page made her first red carpet debut with her girlfriend Samantha Thomas. The two walked hand in hand at the Toronto Film Festival earlier.
Days after the two went to the Freeheld premiere as a couple, Page decided to post a PDA-filled photo of her and her girlfriend on Instagram. Page shared a cute photo of them together. She captioned the sweet photo with, “high school dance vibes.”
As the Inquistr reported, Page told E! about her first public appearance with girlfriend Samantha Thomas. “I’m in love. Walking down the red carpet holding my girlfriend’s hand is pretty special. It’s pretty awesome.”
Since then, Page has gotten a ton of support on social media.

So who is Samantha Thomas? According to E! she’s an artist that works with oil paintings and abstract pieces. Actress Ruby Rose, a good friend of Page, gushed to E! about the couple coming out on the red carpet.
“When your best friend is the most talented, funny, beautiful, generous, humble human being it’s hard to not smile until it hurts. Ellen, I am so proud of you and will always be grateful for everything you are and will always be to me.”
Back in 2014, during the Time to Thrive conference, Page came out for the very first time. During the uplifting speech, she said, “I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission. I suffered for years because I was scared to be out. My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered and my relationships suffered. And I’m standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of all that pain.”
