Demi Lovato Feels ‘Confident,’ Releases New Single
Demi Lovato’s new single is finally out. The former Disney star is feeling very “Confident” these days, and it’s showing.
Demi Lovato told fans that her new single, “Confident,” is finally out. Fans can get the single when they pre-order Lovato’s Confident album. The new single is also available on Spotify. Listen to the hot new track below.
Demi’s new single comes three months after her lead single “Cool For the Summer” and three weeks after she revealed the album’s full tracklist on Twitter. Demi also debuted the new single on Apple Music’s Beats 1 on Thursday during her interview with Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz.
This isn’t the first time Demi Lovato has talked about her new single. She took to Instagram to share the single’s artwork. The cover shows Demi rocking a black leather halter and a black croco-inspired leather skirt. She’s also sporting a windblown jet black bob and bold red nails and lips.
As a lead up to her new single, Demi Lovato is also sharing some super sexy photos of herself rocking super short dresses and skirts. In the first photo, she used the caption, “What’s wrong with being #Confident?? #confidentoctober16.” It looks like those are the lyrics from the new track.
In the two other sexy photos, Demi reminds her fans that her new single is out now.
Although the first two singles are pop-rock in nature, Lovato says that the other tracks on her new album will have a mix of soulful and Motown-influenced songs. Lovato also recorded a song that’s dedicated to her late father. It was kind of like therapy for her.
“It’s extremely raw [but] I definitely had some closure [with that song],” she said during her interview with Entertainment Weekly.
Demi Lovato also revealed her girl squad, which kind of rivals Taylor Swift’s growing squad. During her interview with KISS FM, Demi revealed that she’s friends with Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez.
“I’m really close with Iggy [Azalea]. She’s f***king awesome. Jennifer Lopez… she’s incredible.”
Talk about major #SquadGoals! Lovato also that J.Lo is no diva. In fact, she’s a total sweetie!
“She’s a boss. I told her just recently, ‘you’re a boss b**ch with the biggest heart.’ She was like, ‘that’s the first time I’ve ever gotten that!’ But it’s the best definition!”
