“Sweet Love,” Chris Brown‘s new music video showcases the 23 year old R&B singer sans shirt most of the video, singing to women (who are naked, aside from a sheet).
Brown apparently makes the women go crazy, according to Perez Hilton, by crooning:
“Just grind on me, just grind on me, just grind on me.”
Robbie Daw of Idolator writes of the video that:
“[Brown]slows it down for his video for Fortune single “Sweet Love”, and makes things real sexy — well, that is, if you’re idea of sexy is watching him climb under the sheets with a hologram and walk down a wet street lined with scantily-clad women who begin floating in the air, Exorcist-style, when he walks past them.”
Celebrity Gossip also reports of “Sweet Love” that:
“[Chris Brown is] delivering some mouth-watering moves for the ladies…Really amping of the sexiness.”
Neon Limelight describes the video by saying:
“It’s raining sexiness in the music video for Chris Brown‘s new single, “Sweet Love.” In the just-released clip for the sultry slow jam, Breezy, who directed the clip himself, plays a sexy game of hide-and-seek-in-the-sheets with one lucky lady, becomes the naughty dreamweaver to a few more ladies, and busts more than a few smooth moves while shirtless, all before taking it back to the bedroom to make some sweet love.”
The Hollywood Gossip gives a “fun fact” after the video, stating:
“While Chris walked and sang through the lot’s NYC streets, a production crew set up a flying structure to levitate three models. None of them were assaulted in the process.”
The new video, released on Friday, preludes his fifth upcoming album “Fortune,” which is set to be released on July 3rd in the U.S. The song “Sweet Love” was produced by Polow Da Don and Jason “JP” Perry, according to KOVideo, and follows the success of his last single “Turn Up the Music,” which was released earlier this year.
