Drake And Serena? Drizzy And Lorde? Aubrey And Nicki? What’s The Deal?
Drake has been known as a ladies’ man, but also a gentleman. However, most notoriously, he’s been called a flirt. Are Drake and Serena really dating?
Drizzy has had crushes on many women throughout his career. Most known are his crushes on Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. However, those feelings are supposed to be old news for the Views from the 6 artist. In recent Drake news, the rapper is allegedly dating world-renowned tennis champion, Serena Williams.
Weeks ago, the two were seen kissing and exchanging eye-gazes in public. Since then, they’ve supported each other’s endeavors by making appearances and other public displays. Even yesterday, Serena had Drake’s “Back to Back” playing at her HSN event, during New York Fashion Week. However, why was that song chosen, specifically?
Unfortunately, there are no concrete statements verifying “why.” However, Williams has been undergoing beef with Minaj. Apparently, Nicki believes that Drake only chose to pursue Serena because the rapper has been unavailable, due to her relationship with Meek Mill, whom Drizzy recently defeated in their battle rap contest. A source told HollywoodLife as follows.
“Nicki’s not one to throw shade, but she sees Drake out there, flirting with Serena. Nicki thinks it’s cute. It’s about time a woman gave him a chance. But Serena should know that the only reason Drake’s with her is because he can’t have Nicki. Nicki’s just calling it like it is. Drake likes strong, powerful and intelligent women, who are thick with a big bubble butt. And since he can’t have the body goddess, Queen Nicki herself, he’s going after the next best thing.”
However, another source told the celebrity news medium that Serena doesn’t play those types of games. Although she’s one who handles her business (including feuds), she’s not one to just talk about it or go back and forth over social media.
“She’s from Compton, Calif. Her battles are won on the streets or on the court. Having said that, it seems as if Nicki is jealous of her or feels threatened. It’s obvious. Secure women don’t throw shade toward the next woman who’s dating the man they use to talk to. That’s childish…
…He’s extremely nice and supportive and is a gentleman in every way. Big girls like Serena appreciate this type of man. Little girls like Nicki, well, they like timid men who can’t rap, who pick on innocent fans at their own concert and men who like to throw temper tantrums on Instagram. Grow up already, Nicki!”
So, maybe this is somewhat the reason “Back to Back” was chosen for Serena’s runway event?
Nevertheless, unfortunately, Nicki isn’t the only person with which Drake has been flirting. Yesterday, he posted a photo with Lorde and called her “Wifey.” Likewise, she posted a response.

This happened after Drake referred to Anna Wintour, English editor-in-chief of American Vogue, as “Bae,” while at his alleged girlfriend’s fashion show. Of course, Serena didn’t appreciate that comment — reports Yahoo! News — and probably didn’t like the “wifey” comment, either.

Her “blame” comment refers to the #BlameDrake hashtag that’s been circulating the internet. People believe that Drake was a distraction to Serena at her U.S. Open match against Roberta Vinci, of which she lost, as reports Shape.
