Rapper Dolla Shot & Killed outside Beverly Center Shopping Mall in L.A.


Rapper ‘Dolla’ was shot and killed outside the Beverly Center shopping mall in L.A. around 3pm on Monday his publicist has confirmed.

While the Los Angeles Police Department would not confirm the identity of the victim in Monday’s shooting, his publicist, Sue Vannasing, confirmed to the L.A. Times newspaper that her client was shot outside the mall, while waiting with fellow rapper D.J. Shabbazz.

Rapper Dolla Shot & Killed: Possible Suspect In Custody

Dolla was shot and killed during a scuffle involving several people outside the entrance to the mall. The police have detained a possible suspect but LAPD aren’t naming names.

Rapper Dolla was based in Atlanta. Dolla’s real name is Roderick Anthony Burton II and is known for his single “Feelin’ Myself,” which is part of the soundtrack for the 2006 dance film, Step Up.
