Ariana Grande Shifts ‘Focus’ To New Single Release Date On ‘Tonight Show’

Ariana Grande had promised fans through an Instagram post that she was “working on something very special” to reveal soon, the Inquisitr previously reported.

Soon finally came as Grande revealed on The Tonight Show to host Jimmy Fallon that her new single, “Focus,” will be available on October 30, Hollywood Life reported Wednesday.

The 22-year-old single finally told her adoring fans when they can purchase “Focus” while making her guest appearance on The Tonight Show. In addition, Grande played a game of musical impressions with the host, and Ariana nailed several impersonations of other top female artists.

The reveal wasn’t the only one Ariana made on the day. In an appearance earlier on Good Morning America, Grande dished that she is creating a perfume line, calling it a “passion project.” The first scent to be produced will be called Ari by Ariana Grande, according to Entertainment Weekly. The singer boasts the spray will smell like marshmallows and raspberries.

The actress also took the time to issue another apology for the incident recorded on film July 4. In the video, Ariana can be heard saying that hates America while licking on a donut, and it’s being referred to as Donutgate.

“First of all, my behavior was very offensive and I apologized. There is no excuse and there is nothing to justify it. I think, as human beings, we all say and do things that we don’t mean at all sometimes. We have to learn from it. It’s part of our process. We have to learn from our mistakes, and that’s how we grow.”

The new single and perfume isn’t the only thing occupying Ariana this year. In addition to her music, Grande will be acting on Scream Queens, and she and Emma Roberts are trying to hype the Fox show with a weekly web-exclusive video. Scream Queens debuts next week, coming from the minds of the smash-hit Glee. Roberts and Grande join other celebrities on the new series, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Nick Jonas, and Glee alum Lea Michele.

Ariana will have other music dropping that day as well. Grande headlines a list of several artists on a compilation of hit songs from Disney movies called We Love Disney. Included on the album are other headliners Ne-Yo, Fall Out Boy, and Gwen Stefani, to name a few.
