In an unusual promotion, Yahoo is giving away free popcorn. Want some?

The Yahoo free popcorn deal allows you to submit some basic info — name, address, phone number, and e-mail — and receive a free bag of popable goodness in the mail. It’s part of Yahoo’s digital TV transition page.

“Cuddle up with your old TV before transitioning to digital and get a FREE bag of popcorn, courtesy of Yahoo!” the site says.

I never expected to be receiving free popcorn from Yahoo, but I won’t say no.
