Woman Draws Donald Trump’s Portrait Using Her Menstrual Blood As Paint

A woman artist from Portland, Oregon has produced a scathing criticism of Donald Trump by painting his portrait using her menstrual blood as paint.

The woman, Sarah Levy, has drawn the portrait as part of a series of paintings – inspired by Donald Trump’s proficiency at creating antagonism – called “Whatever,” where she uses menstrual blood to draw face-sketches on matte board. Levy says her attempt is to draw attention to what could arguably be described as two of Trump’s biggest campaign blunders till date.

The first was immediately after Donald Trump had announced his presidency, when he called Mexican migrants in the US “rapists” and “drug dealers.” The second of those instances involved Trump’s remark to Fox News host Megyn Kelly during the first GOP debate, when he accused Kelly of being tough on him because she was on her period. Trump had said the following words following the debate, later retreating his words for fears of a backlash.

“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.”

According to BuzzFeed News, Sarah Levy intends to donate all profits from selling the painting to an immigrants’ rights organization. The artist explained her reasons for drawing Donald Trump’s portrait using menstrual blood as follows.

“That he thinks he can bring up the healthy functioning of women’s reproductive systems to insult women’s intelligence is a big problem that I think needs to be called out.”

And she has done exactly that. Just two days after the painting appeared on Levy’s Facebook page, the image has gone viral, drawing hundred of sympathetic supporters from all over the world to not only share the painting on social media, but who are also willing to make donations to help Levy convert “Whatever” into a full-fledged project.

Levy also confirmed that she is looking forward to selling Trump’s portrait online, but one of the problems of using menstrual blood as paint has been that the color of the painting has already faded from bright red to a reddish-brown.

We are left wondering what Donald Trump would say if he saw Sarah Levy’s painting. Probably just “whatever.”
