WWE News: Dudley Boyz Vs. Hardy Boyz TLC Match Taking Place At ‘WrestleMania 32’? A WWE Hall Of Famer Says It Would Be A Great Attraction

One of the biggest rumors to hit the WWE rumor-mill over the last week has been that WWE, due to them being happy with the performance of the returning Dudley Boyz, is interested in bringing back former WWE Tag-Team Champs, and current TNA wrestlers Matt and Jeff Hardy, the Hardy Boyz.

Last week, Matt Hardy played into the rumors that he and his brother Jeff would be returning to WWE, saying on Twitter that WWE is having a TLC reunion without the “L components.”

With the success of the current WWE Tag Champs, The New Day, and the excitement around the return of the Dudley Boyz, who may end up winning the Tag-Team Titles this Sunday night at Night of Champions, WWE’s tag-team division is more relevant than it’s been in over a decade, and the Hardy Boyz would make it a lot more relevant.

Most would agree that a Matt and Jeff Hardy return to WWE would be good for everyone involved, but, if the did return at some point next year, what would their role be, and who would they face? Well, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has an idea for the former Tag-Team Champions, and it involves, you guessed it, tables, ladders, and chairs at WrestleMania 32.

“Interesting speculation online that the Hardy Boyz might be back on the WWE radar. I have no idea if this is true or not but I don’t think it is a bad idea if they were utilized much like the Dudley’s have been lately. Jeff and Matt had a spectacular tag team run in WWE while Jeff was close to becoming a big time, singles star, as well. Jeff’s ladder match with Undertaker is still one of my most vivid broadcasting memories. The Hardy’s and the Dudley’s in a TLC match at [WrestleMania32] would certainly be attractive to Attitude Era fans who are looking for a reason to reconnect with the brand and sample the WWE Network.”

It’s unclear whether or not the Dudley Boyz and the Hardy Boyz would be willing to do another TLC match at WrestleMania 32, but they’re likely open to the idea. If it were to happen, there’s a good chance that WWE would throw The New Day in the match with the Hardy’s and Dudley’s, as the classic TLC matches always had three teams involved.
