Lady Gaga Shows Off New Bleach Blonde Bangs, Trash Bag Dress At NYFW

Lady Gaga is causing some controversy with her new hairstyle. Mother Monster made her appearance at New York Fashion Week throughout most of the weekend.

The “You & I” singer was spotted with an interesting new hairstyle. Lady Gaga had bleached blonde baby bangs. She’s been spotted with this trendy hairstyle before, but lately she’s been showing it off on Instagram. Of course, Lady Gaga’s strange new hairstyle doesn’t go without causing a little controversy.

South African rap duo Die Antwoord is not too happy about Lady Gaga’s new hairstyle. They believe that she’s copying Yolandi Visser’s bleached blonde baby bangs look, which has been her signature look since 2009. The pair have taken to Instagram to slam Gaga for copying Visser.

This isn’t the first time that Die Antwoord has had issues with Lady Gaga. They featured a Gaga lookalike mauled by a lion in their video for “Fatty Boom Boom.” It all started when Gaga invited them to open for her on one of her world tours — and they flat out refused because they don’t think the pop star is authentic. Die Antwoord never seem to have gotten over their apparent feud.

Lady Gaga also made headlines when she was seen wearing a dress that resembled a trash bag. On Sunday, the edgy songstress took her new look one step further when she stepped out in a black garbage bag mini dress with a black merkin strategically placed in front of her crotch. Gaga completed her strange look with ripped fishnets, chains, black lace-up boots, and a black train case.

Gaga swapped her trash bag look for a classy look, according to the Daily Mail. Later that day, she was spotted in a glittery red long-sleeved dress with purple shades, a purple leather handbag, and black suede pumps.

The former jazz singer surely loved her new look. Gaga took to Twitter to thank her stylist. She tweeted: “Thanku NICOPANDA for this look from the new collection for the day. When you turn a shirt into a dress @formischetti.”

Lady Gaga’s outfit on Saturday seemed normal. She kept it casual and simple at the Alexander Wang show. Gaga wore a black motorcycle jacket over a black crop top and denim cutoff shorts. She completed her look with glittered lucite heels.

During the show, Gaga sat with her friend and stylist Brandon Maxwell, legendary R&B singer Mary J. Blige, and photographer Steven Klein.

British tabloids noted how tired the “Applause” singer looked during New York Fashion Week. It’s probably because she’s been working hard on the set of American Horror Story: Hotel, the fifth season of the popular horror series. Although Gaga’s been busy filming in Hollywood, she made time to fly out to the east coast for the bi-annual fashion show.
