Sex and the City actress Cynthia Nixon and girlfriend Christine Marinoni are engaged.
Nixon announced the news during the Love, Peace and Marriage Equality rally, a pro-gay marriage event New York on Sunday (May 17.)
Nixon began dating Marinoni in 2003 after breaking up with her long time partner Danny Mozes, the father of her two children. Nixon said last year that she had plans to marry Marinoni, although the pair only became officially engaged last month. No date has been set for the wedding.

Two pieces of filth. Homos and lesbians should be locked up with hard labour. Should they be given the death penalty? Doesn't anyone realise this scum is gradually taking over as an increasing number of governments cave-in to the demands of these perverts; notably their demand to be viewed and treated the same as heterosexuals?
Russia has the right idea. It broke up the homo rally the other day. Peru also; it wants homos out of the police force. Good job. Well done Russia and Peru!
