‘RHOBH’ Star Kim Richards Spotted Shopping For Illegal Prescription Drugs, Still Claims To Be Sober

Kim Richards’ latest postings to social media seem to indicate the reality star is starting to turn her life around. However, new reports indicate that the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star might still be struggling with substance abuse despite multiple stints in rehab.

According to TMZ, Richards was recently seen shopping around for Xanax in a store in Sherman Oaks. Witnesses told the outlet that Richards was adamant she could purchase the drug in the store, even after employees insisted they didn’t sell drugs.

Richards tried not once, but three times to get a hold of the prescription drug. While this likely means that Richards is once again having troubles fighting her addictions, the reality star claimed that she needed the drug for a recent injury to her foot.

Meanwhile, the latest reports come after a few upbeat postings to Richards’ Twitter account, which had fans wondering if she was actually starting to recover.

“It’s a Wonderful Wednesday,” Richards wrote. “Remember to appreciate and love yourself as well as others today. Have a VAVOOMSHABANG kind of day stay cool.”

At the same time, Richards also took to Twitter on Tuesday in honor of Labor Day.

“I hope you all had a fun & safe Labor Day. I’ve missed you all!” she posted. “Thank you for all the Love, you all mean so much to me VAVOOMSHABANG.”

Fans reacted nicely to Richards’ tweets, saying they were glad that she was back.

“Yes, it’s Good to be back!” she stated in response. “Missed you all.”

When one fan brought up the question of her sobriety, Richards responded by writing, “Yes I am,” adding, “All is good.”

Even Richards’ ex-husband, Monty Brinson, managed to get in on the positive messages. Brinson posted two pictures of Richards on his Instagram account and wrote a kind message to his former wife.

“If people refuse to look at you in a new light and they can only see you for what you were, only see you for the mistakes you’ve made, if they don’t realize that you are not your mistakes, then they have to go,” he wrote. “One day spent with someone you love can change everything. I’m proud of you my friend, you still have the same heart from the day we met. Always love Monty.”

Despite the positive interactions on social media, Richards’ has yet to address the recent rumors of her attempts to buy Xanax.
