Rihanna And Travis Scott Relationship Confirmed, ‘Diamonds’ Singer ‘Very Serious’ With Rapper
It’s official: Rihanna and Travis Scott are a couple.
After days of speculation regarding the status of the duo’s rumored romance, sources close to Rihanna reveal to E! News that Rih and Scott are in fact dating.
“Travis and Rihanna are dating, officially,” the insider explained of the duo’s romance, noting, “It’s already very serious. He’s very into her.”
The duo first ignited dating rumors last week after Rihanna was spotted attending Scott’s NYC concert for four nights in a row.
Rihanna and Scott continued to fuel dating speculation after insiders revealed that the duo was getting cozy at Rihanna’s NYFW party, explaining, “It’s true, they were totally together. They were all over each other. It was very clear they were together.”
“Rihanna likes Travis a lot and hopes it develops into something more,” a source close to Rihanna explains to the site. “All of her friends think he is gonna be the keeper.”
The insider concludes, “Travis is completely her type and they share the same interests.”
The news comes just one day after TMZ published footage of Rihanna and Scott making out and dancing during Rih’s NYFW party earlier this week.
While Rihanna may be enjoying her new romance, fans have expressed their displeasure over the duo’s new romance on social media, prompting sources to speak out in defense of Rihanna and Scott’s relationship.
“Everyone wants RiRi to be happy and she seems happy and in love so we should all be happy for her,” a source close to Rihanna explains to Urban Islandz.
“Her fans can’t determine her happiness so she pretty much tunes out all the haters right now and is just living her life,” the source continues.
Similarly, Hollywood Life reports that fans have begun blaming Rihanna’s summer of romance for the delay of her highly anticipated eighth album, tentatively titled R8.
“Rihanna is dating Travis. But still hasn’t released r8. Time for a new fave,” one fan wrote on Twitter in regards to Rihanna’s new romance.
Similarly, another fan explains, “R8 isn’t gonna release itself RT @AdoringRihanna: Rihanna partying with Wiz Khalifa & Travis Scott,” while another adds, “Rihanna needs to stop going to Travis Scott concerts and release r8.”
While Travis Scott is rumored to be helping Rihanna pen some smash hits for her upcoming album, the Barbadian songstress has yet to confirm a release date or title for the album.
