Tom Hiddleston Lets Fans Know ‘Autumn’s On Its Way,’ Almost Time For ‘Crimson Peak’

With summer winding down and fall beginning to creep in, we’re getting closer and closer to the premiere date of Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming film, Crimson Peak. With that in mind, Crimson Peak star Tom Hiddleston is doing his best to promote the gothic horror flick, and is apparently finding it hard to hide his excitement.

In a recent message on Twitter, Hiddleston posted a number of images of his co-stars in the coming movie, along with the caption: “Felt a chill in the air this morning. Autumn’s on its way. Almost time. #Crimson Peak.”

The images Tom Hiddleston uploaded include posters of Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam, and, of course, his own character. Each of the images offer a glimpse at how the actors will look in the movie, and also give fans an idea as to the general look and feel of the upcoming film.

Crimson Peak is a gothic horror romance that centers on the story of a young novelist who marries a mysterious gentleman. Upon moving into her husband’s creepy mansion in the countryside, strange things begin to occur, as she discovers the house is anything but ordinary.

Hiddleston’s recent activity on social media isn’t the only instance where the Thor star has taken to social media to promote the new film. In fact, a few months back, Hiddleston shared the initial movie poster for the film and wrote: “Can’t wait to show it to you all finally. Not long now.”

At the same time, in an interview with Yahoo, Hiddleston described the movie as being the perfect “cuddle movie.” His comments were quickly backed by his fellow co-star Chastain.

“It’s romantic and scary, so it’s the perfect date movie,” the actress stated in the interview. “Because you go with your love or your wannabe love, and then right when it’s getting romantic, you kind of cuddle, and then when it’s scary, you cuddle more.”

“They could put that on the poster! ‘Crimson Peak: The Cuddle Movie’,” Hiddleston quickly added.

Although it isn’t clear how much romance will play a part in the movie, it is known that del Toro will likely bring his unique touch to the horror genre, which should make this one film you won’t want to miss.

Although fans have waited quite a while now for the release of del Toro’s newest film, the wait will soon be over, as Tom Hiddleston and Crimson Peak hits theaters everywhere on October 16.
