McDonald’s All-Day Breakfast Has A Catch That’s Disappointing People

Just last week the Inquisitr reported McDonald’s was about to offer their breakfast menu all-day. When news hit that McDonald’s was going to serve their popular breakfast items all day, consumers were thrilled. Despite a positive initial reaction, there was a catch many didn’t see coming.

The whole breakfast menu won’t be available to every customer, which means some McDonald’s locations will only serve specific popular items based on the demand for said items. What does this mean for those who want to enjoy a McDonald’s breakfast on a 24 hour basis? Well, according to McDonald’s press release, starting October 6, customers can buy breakfast items all day at McDonald’s using a limited breakfast menu. Hungry patrons will not be able to order items off of the full breakfast menu.

In the release, McDonald’s announced, “Depending on the local market, All Day Breakfast will have a limited menu that focuses on either McMuffin or Biscuit items.”

The fine print continued, “The two menu options offer a very limited number of breakfast items – and there will only be one or the other available ‘based on customer preference.'”

This means that if there isn’t a high demand for an Egg McMuffin sandwich, you can kiss that item goodbye.

According to CNBCthere’s going to be two different markets. One is a McMuffin Sandwich market, which includes items such as Egg McMuffin, Sausage McMuffin with Egg, Sausage McMuffin, Hotcakes with Sausage, and Hotcakes.

The In Biscuit markets will serve the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit, Sausage Biscuit with Egg, Sausage Biscuit, Platters, Hotcakes with Sausage — you get the picture.

Now that the fine print has been pointed out there are a bunch of unhappy customers who feel they’ve been lied to by the golden arches establishment.
