Jennifer Aniston Is Paid A Nearly Naked Tribute By Her Adoring Fan Selena Gomez
Jennifer Aniston has been keeping busy since tying the knot with Justin Theroux last month. Filming of her latest role within the movie Mother’s Day has kept the actress in work mode, and fans are eager to get to see another one of Jen’s charismatic and endearing performances.
One of Aniston’s die-hard fans is starlet Selena Gomez. The young actress-turned-pop-star noted that Jen is like a mentor to her. The two have admitted that they have a bond and friendship for various reasons. Aniston sees a bit of herself in the youthful beauty, and Gomez, like a multitude of other young women, sees Jen as a wonderful role model.
Gomez took her Jen fandom to new lengths recently by posting an Instagram pic as a tribute to the 46-year-old stunner. Just Jared relays the artistic yet bare image, which Gomez connected to her mentor Jen.
The website adds, “After debuting the artwork for her upcoming album Revival, Selena compared the fully unclothed photo of herself to one of Jennifer’s.”
Gomez then captioned the post to ensure fans understand her true admiration for Aniston.
“My idol.”
Gomez, who has been a long-time fan of Aniston’s, shared in regards to the bond the two share and how the two beauties even met in the first place, as the friendship seemed quite strange to many. Selena spoke on the subject during a KTU radio interview back in June, as ET online notes.
“[W]e met through my management — they manage her as well — so it was kind of like a friendly meeting and instantly [Jen’s], like, inviting me to her house. She has a pizza oven. Like, we’ve made pizzas at her house. She’s very cool and very sweet. She kind of gives me a lot of, like, maternal advice.”
The first meeting between the two was last December at a party in Los Angeles, after which Gomez took to Instagram to share her enthusiasm and excitement about meeting Aniston.
“I have not only been following her career as a fan since I was 8 and now get to watch her completely transform in her new movie CAKE, I have gotten to have real conversations with such a real heart, made my entire year.”
ET reminds that before Selena and Jen actually were able to properly meet, the young pop star expressed how terrified she was when bumping into the Friends star in the bathroom at an event back in 2009. However, Selena can rest easy, as she and Jen are now truly mutually adoring of one another.
