Wait, Is Channing Tatum A Time Traveler? This 1900s Photo Suggests He Is

Channing Tatum has a lot of talents. He’s established himself as one of Hollywood’s most popular actors, modeled for a variety of publications, and even excelled as a male stripper in his early days.

However, there’s one talent that we didn’t know he had. It turns out that Channing Tatum also has the ability to time-travel. Or so it seems.

That’s because an image of a man who looks just like the actor has emerged online, courtesy of ihaveN0 over on Reddit. In fact, it appears to show Channing Tatum back in the early 1900s, with the top comment of the picture from Redditor 0fficerNasty joking, “He was part of 1st Jump Street.”

Okay, so the most obvious explanation is that the individual in the picture simply has a resemblance to the 21 Jump Street, Magic Mike, and Foxcatcher actor.

But ihaveN0 decided to tease that Tatum actually possesses the ability to travel through time, as he entitled his image, “Found A Time Traveling Channing Tatum In My Family.” You can check out the full Reddit thread here.

It’s quite clear from the picture that the pair share very similar facial structures. In fact, they’re so eerily similar that fans wouldn’t be surprised if Tatum didn’t go on to find out that he was actually related to the above individual.

This isn’t the first time that a Hollywood star has been mistaken for somebody from a decades-old picture. In fact, Daniel Radcliffe was accused of being someone’s grandmother by another Reddit user, who entitled their thread, “My grandma is time-traveling Daniel Radcliffe.” This then inspired the Huffington Post to run an entire article that featured several images of Daniel Radcliffe popping up over the last decades, looking as fresh-faced as ever.

Meanwhile, Channing Tatum will next be seen in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight in an unspecified role.

He will then continue his recent trend of working with some of Hollywood’s finest directors by appearing in The Coen Bros.’ next film, Hail, Caesar! After that he will be seen in Gambit, the origin story for one of X-Men‘s most beloved mutants, Remy LeBeau, which will be released in 2016, and will fit snugly into Fox’s X-Men movie universe.
