Kim Richards Returns To Twitter ‘Sober’ With ‘VAVOOM’: What’s Ahead, From Court To TV Show, For ‘Real Housewives’ Star

Kim Richards has struggled with sobriety in the past. Most recently, Kim has been in and out of rehab for issues including addiction to alcohol. While Richards is also aware that her past legal worries over allegations that include shoplifting aren’t over, the former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star has made a point of reassuring her fans that she is still sober in her return to social media, reports MSN.

For months, Kim Richards has stayed silent on Twitter. Today, Richards took time to express her thanks to fans for their support and encourages them to have positive attitudes.

“I hope you all had a fun & safe Labor Day,” posted Kim.

Richards notes that she has missed her fans, and expresses what their support meant to her.

“Thank you for all the Love. You all mean so much to me. It’s a Wonderful Wednesday. Remember to appreciate and love yourself as well as others today.”

For Kim Richards, however, that self-appreciation has been challenging recently. Nonetheless, Richards made sure to answer one big question, and that’s whether she has maintained her sobriety.

” still sober?” asked one person on Twitter.

“Yes I am,” tweeted Kim.

Richards kept her response short when asked about her well-being.

The RHOBH star simply said, “All is good.”

Richards added in a touch of exuberance with another one of her tweets, reported E News.

“Have a VAVOOMSHABANG kind of day. Stay cool!”

Richards has traveled a long and rocky road to that “vavoom” attitude. Her legal problems include a shoplifting arrest for about $600 worth of products from Target. The alleged offense kept her in jail for one night. Kim was freed on bail.

Although Richards’ family took action at one point to hospitalize her, it was only for a short period of time.

In mid-April, Kim was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel on a variety of charges, and Richards subsequently went to rehab again.

What fans can expect to see from her in the future depends on the outcome of Richards’ court case, reports ABC News.

The arrest following the Beverly Hills Hotel brouhaha resulted in the offer of a plea deal from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office. However, Kim’s attorneys wanted to substitute community service for community labor, which would mean Richards would have to perform tasks such as cleaning a highway.

The deal would involve 52 Alcoholics Anonymous classes, 30 days of community labor, and 36 months of probation, as noted by D.A. office spokesperson Ricardo Santiago.

On Sept. 14, Richards’ pre-trial hearing will be held.

But, according to Radar Online, what might be in Kim Richards’ future is another reality TV show, since she has been fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The show is rumored to air on VH1; but, Richards’ children and sister, Kyle, aren’t enthusiastic, said a source. The upcoming show is titled Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn.

“Producers had also offered Kim a spot on the upcoming season,” said a source.

Although Richards reportedly wasn’t thrilled about the show’s emphasis, she needed the money, according to the insider source. She supposedly asked her children about it, requesting that they check with Kyle since the two sisters are not communicating.

According to the insider, they all vetoed the idea.

“The kids and Kyle all said no way. It’s not because they don’t want to help Kim, but they felt she needed to go to rehab. If Kim had already successfully completed treatment, and was in a good place to begin truly working on relationships with the family, that would be a different story.”
