Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Nick Gordon Admits To Fighting With Bobbi Kristina Prior To Her Death

New information continues to emerge regarding Nick Gordon’s actions the day his former girlfriend, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was found comatose. Although Gordon admits to verbally fighting with Bobbi Kristina on January 31, the day she was found unconscious in her Roswell, Georgia, townhouse, he denies physically harming her or causing her death.

The Inquisitr recently reported that Gordon’s lawyers filed a motion to dismiss the wrongful lawsuit against their client on Tuesday, stating that the claims of physical harm, emotional harm, and theft against Bobbi Kristina were invalid. The wrongful death lawsuit was filed against Gordon on June 25 by Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, Bedelia Hargrove. Gordon is accused of punching out some of Bobbi Kristina’s teeth, pulling her up a flight of stairs by her hair, verbally abusing her, and stealing more than $11,000 from her bank account.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was found comatose in the bathtub of her Roswell, Ga. townhouse on January 31. Nick Gordon admitted to arguing while Bobbi Kristina the day the incident happened.

Yet, although Gordon’s attorneys, which includes high-profile lawyer Jose Baez, state that the lawsuit is baseless, their motion to dismiss indicates that Gordon admits to a verbal argument that took place after he went out the previous night with Bobbi Kristina. Gordon claims that he found Bobbi Kristina in the bathtub after the argument ended on January 31, and that he immediately began CPR on her. According to court documents,

“Defendant admits that the parties went out the night in question, that he reviewed video footage and then had an argument with Ms. Brown and that he then changed clothes. Defendant denies the remaining allegations.”

Gordon also claims that a friend found Bobbi Kristina face down in her bathtub. The person who allegedly found Bobbi Kristina was not identified in the motion to dismiss, but it does indicate that other parties, along with Gordon, attempted to resuscitate her.

There was no indication in the motion to dismiss as to what Gordon and Bobbi Kristina were arguing about. However, the wrongful death lawsuit court documents state that Gordon reviewed footage from a video surveillance camera inside or outside the townhouse that led him to confront Bobbi Kristina. It’s also alleged that Gordon listened to Bobbi Kristina’s voicemails and checked her text messages on her cellphone, which angered him further.

The wrongful death lawsuit also accuses Gordon of providing Bobbi Kristina with a “lethal cocktail” and telling friends to ‘”clean up, clean up” as they unsuccessfully tried to wake Bobbi Kristina up. Yet, Ian Halperin, author of Whitney and Bobbi Kristina: The Deadly Price of Fame, says that the plaintiffs will have a hard time proving what they allege.

“I think Baez will have a field day with this. (The conservator) keeps digging themselves deeper and deeper. Good luck proving this was a lethal cocktail, because she had been drinking and doing drugs in the days and hours leading up to (being found). I have extreme skepticism at this point. It seems not plausible.”
