Woman Allegedly Used Facebook, Prosthetic Penis, And Blindfold To Trick Female Friend Into Being Her Boyfriend For Two Years

A woman has been accused of orchestrating an extravagant plan just to bed her female friend, which ultimately resulted in her having a two-year relationship with her victim.

According to the Mirror, the name of the accused is Gayle Newland, who has since been charged with five charges of sexual assault. In order to carry out her scheme, Newland used Facebook, as well as a prosthetic penis and a blind-fold.

The incident allegedly unfolded in 2011, when the victim, who hasn’t been named for legal reasons, received a Facebook friendship request from an individual named Kye Fortune.

She accepted the request and then began to strike up an online friendship with Kye, who, according to the Lad Bible, was a “half-Filipino, half-Latino young man.” A court has since heard that Kye told the woman that he had been involved in a car crash that left him covered in scars. Kye admitted that he was a little bit embarrassed by his injuries.

They then spoke on the phone, which is where the plan almost collapsed. She noticed that Kye’s voice was very high, but Kye insisted it was simply down to his Filipino accent. Kye then allegedly added that he had a brain tumor, too.

The eventually met up, and then allegedly had sex together. However, because of his scars, Kye insisted that the woman wear a blindfold, otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to have sex.

This was just one of numerous times that Kye and the woman ended up having sex, as they repeatedly met in hotels, and it was repeatedly asked that the woman wear a blindfold. On the last occasion that the pair had sex, which was when Kye visited the woman’s flat, the complainant felt that something was amiss.

Speaking to police, she explained, “When I was having sex I grabbed for the back of his head and my hand got caught on something. It did not feel right. I was sat on the bed, he was standing up. Something in my mind said, ‘Pull it off, pull it off.'”

When she did yank it off, she immediately recognized the “man” having sex with her as Gayle Newland, a woman that “Kye” had introduced her to, and was now one of her closest friends.

The victim continued, “I just pulled it off. Gayle was just standing there… I just couldn’t believe it, I couldn’t believe it. Straight away she held her hand over her face and said, ‘It’s not what you think.'”

In order to complete her transition into Key, Newland allegedly used a prosthetic penis, and hid her hair using a hat. She also bandaged her breasts down too

Newland allegedly decided to pursue the victim after meeting her on two nights out in Chester back in 2011, which is why she became interested in pursuing her.

Newland denies any wrongdoing, but has added that she’s created fake online accounts since she was 13 because she was always “a bit of a tomboy” and explained that she did it “as a way of speaking to girls.” The case is still ongoing at Chester Crown Court in North West England.
