Donald Trump Slams Obama’s Negotiations With Iran

As usual, Donald Trump is boldly speaking his mind, and doesn’t care who disagrees with him. The current issue involves President Obama’s negotiations with Iran. Donald Trump is not on board with this deal, and will do everything in his power to see that it doesn’t come to pass.

Certainly our history with Iran is stormy, and Donald Trump cannot understand why Obama would want to negotiate with the renegade country at all. If the deal goes through, Trump states the following will be true.

All nuclear sanctions would be lifted, Iran would receive $150 billion, would get notice before inspections, and would even have the right to block certain inspections. American prisoners would not be released, other countries could invest in the country, and Iran would have the right to expand conventional arms as well as guided missiles programs.

So what does the United States gain in this deal? Apparently, nothing.

In an opinion article published by USA Today, Donald Trump slams this type of negotiation with a supposedly terrorist country. The following is an excerpt from his column.

“In the end, Iran will be a nuclear state. This will lead to an all-out arms race in the region. All the Middle East, southern Europe and American interests will be within the footprint of Iran’s missiles.

The problem is that Iran poses an existential threat to Israel, our Middle Eastern allies and the United States. If we have to wait until the next president is sworn in to revisit this nuclear weapons agreement, then the next president better be someone who knows how to negotiate and who will do what is best for the United States.”

Donald Trump is not just blowing smoke when speaking out against President Obama’s plan. If “The Donald” is elected as the next president, Trump has some strong words regarding his own plan to deal with Iran.

“When I am elected president, I will renegotiate with Iran — right after I enable the immediate release of our American prisoners and ask Congress to impose new sanctions that stop Iran from having the ability to sponsor terrorism around the world.”

According to CBS News, other politicians agree wholeheartedly with Donald Trump regarding the Iran issue. Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin, among others, will be attending a rally with Donald Trump today in Washington, D.C. Palin is so enraged over the negotiations she took to Facebook to share her opinion.

“Think about it — what the heck are we even doing ‘negotiating’ with an evil regime hellbent on destruction? The whole premise of this thing is wrong. It’s a long haul to D.C. for the rally but well worth it to take a stand against this asinine deal the President caved on.”

What do you think of the deal Obama is trying to negotiate? Do you agree with Donald Trump?
