Anna Duggar And Cousin Amy Share Special Moments At Wedding, Duggar Women Support Each Other

Anna Duggar has had a very rough time during the past couple of months, but she seems to be getting tons of support from her in-laws on husband Josh Duggar’s side of the family. They have rallied around her since Josh went into rehab for his pornography addiction. The mom-of-four has been getting out lately, and her latest excursion was to attend Amy Duggar’s wedding on Sunday. According to a report by People, Anna had some special moments with the bride.

The former reality star showed up to the nuptials in a simple blue blouse and a khaki skirt. Amy described her as beautiful, and despite all that she has been going through since she found out that Josh Duggar had been cheating on her, Anna showed up to support the blushing bride. She is known for being really sweet as seen on 19 Kids and Counting, and so it seems that Anna Duggar always thinks of others first.

Amy told People that she met with her cousin-in-law before she said her I do’s, and the two gave each other a huge hug.

The free-spirited Duggar, now known as Mrs. King, described how she felt at that moment.

“That’s when I got the most emotional. I can’t imagine what she’s been through. I would be a disaster.”

Amy also said that she was grateful that the whole Duggar family, except for Josh, was all on hand to share in her happy moment as she wed Dillon King.

“They’ve been through so much and it means the world to me that they want to come to my wedding, even though their whole world is turned upside down right now.”

As a special thank you, the bride gave her aunt Michelle a card with a gift certificate to her favorite restaurant. She also gave Anna Duggar a certificate to a nail salon so she could take some time for herself for once. It was a sweet gesture by Amy, and it was probably very appreciated by the two women.

In return, Anna expressed her happiness for her cousin by inscribing a simple message to her and the groom. ET posted an exclusive photo of the message. It was written on a big Jenga block that Amy and Dillion chose to use in place of a traditional guest book. The message said, “So happy for you!-Anna.”

The news site also reported that Anna left after the ceremony, but the rest of the family stayed behind to help out and to enjoy the food and desserts.

It sounds like Anna Duggar is hanging in there as well as she can. It’s good that she is trying to get on with her life while she is waiting to see what happens with her husband. It looks like she will be sticking around until he gets out of rehab.
