Cast Confirms ‘Southern Charm’ Back For Season 3

The third time’s a charm! So says the cast of the Bravo show Southern Charm. Last night, the cast confirmed what the Inquisitr reported yesterday, that Southern Charm is back on Bravo for the third season, despite Thomas Ravenel’s quote that said “it’s over.”

Yesterday, the Inquisitr reported that Season 3 of Southern Charm was a go, that Patricia Altschul was selling her gorgeous home, which was the location for many of the show’s scenes and dinner parties. Also reported was Kathryn Calhoun Dennis’ second pregnancy, which she has not yet confirmed. But most important, Southern Charm, Season 3 is happening.

Last night at a bit after eight, Cameran Eubanks, Shep Rose, Whitney Sudler Smith, and of course his mother, Patricia Altschul, confirmed with a tweet that they are indeed back for a third season. But wait, missing from the announcement were Kathryn Dennis, Landon Clements, Craig Conover, and the infamous Thomas Ravenel, who said in no uncertain terms, “it’s not happening.”

Back when the show’s survival was still up in the air, Shep Rose and Thomas Ravenel were having a difference of opinion about Season 3. The Inquisitr reported that Thomas Ravenel spoke to the press and said that the show was over and not happening, because he would not participate, and without him, there was no show. But Rose stepped in and said: “Thomas doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” Rose said. “He’s not a bad guy, but he has a few drinks and makes declarative statements.”

Knowing what we know now, Shep Rose was giving us a clue, and he must have been in contract negotiations with Bravo for Season 3.

Thomas Ravenel put the show’s future at further risk by allegedly trying to gain romantic favor with a fan by offering her a role on Southern Charm. According to the Inquisitr, Ravenel was caught on tape with a woman (who supposedly had a boyfriend, confronting them) entering a hotel in Florida. Ravenel has, in the past, been accused of assaulting a friend of Kathryn Dennis, according to the Charleston City Paper, and served time for cocaine on a federal sentence, per the Post and Courier.

No mention yet on the rest of the cast for season three, but stay tuned!
