The Hollywood reporters writes that the song, Houston’s last known recorded hit before her death in February, “is an upbeat track almost reminiscent of the early day, 1980′s Houston pop numbers that first made her a star.”

“Thought we’ve been going through changes, just tryin’ to make it from day to day, tonight don’t you worry about a thing, just cash your cares away,” Houston sings in Celebrate.

According to MSNBC, R. Kelly produced the pop track for the film Sparkle, which hits theaters on August 17 and sees Whitney playing mother to three singing teenage sisters from Harlem who form Motown group that suddenly rises to fame in the 1960s.

Sparks, 22, plays one of Houston’s daughters in the movie.

Earlier this year, Sparks reminisced what it was like working with Houston on the film.

“The first day she got [to the set] she’s scolding me, and I’m thinking this is the best day ever,” Sparks told the crowd at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel back in February. “She went from being this unreachable supernova pop star to my costar, friend and someone who was like a mentor to me. It was a gift and an honor to play opposite Whitney Houston in the film.”
