‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ Casting News: Shanye Lamas May Be In, Meghan King Edmonds Out For Season 11?

Some big changes may be ahead for the 11th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. While most of the cast is expected to return in the upcoming season, there are a few additions for the reality series and one housewife that might be on the way out.

According to Wet Paint, former Bachelor star Shayne Lamas and husband Nik Richie might be set to be included in the new season.

“Producers would love to get Nik and Shayne for next season,” an inside source revealed. “They’re young, they’re attractive, they would bring plenty of drama, and they have a high public profile — they’re pretty much everything the show needs if it has any hope of growing into the future, and returning to the days when they were pulling in 2.5 million plus viewers an episode.”

However, the pair have yet to agree on terms with producers and are apparently unable to come to an agreement due to their salary demands and the additional perks they are seeking.

Meanwhile, with Vicki Gunvalson’s obvious dislike for her co-star Meghan King Edmonds reaching epic proportions, the former has made it clear where she stands on Edmond’s inclusion in the new season. In fact, Gunvalson recently retweeted a message on her Twitter account from a fan who shared similar sentiments.

“@Bravo can we please not include Megan next season,” the fan message read. “Love all the other ladies and love seeing @vgunvalson @ShannonBeador @TamraBarney.”

The fighting between Gunvalson and Edmonds has reached an all-time high in recent episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, as the group of ladies concluded their vacation trip to Tahiti, Edmonds discussed how she desires to have children of her own with husband Jim Edmonds.

“You’ve only been a stepmom for three months,” Gunvalson told Edmonds. “It’s nothing to get upset about, but you won’t know what it’s like until you have your own [children].”

After this incident, the feud between the two stars only continued to escalate. While both have gossiped about each other, Edmonds most recent accusations have centered around Gunvalson’s boyfriend, Brooks Ayers. In particular, Edmonds has accused Ayers of lying about his cancer diagnosis, to which Gunvalson has not taken kindly.

With the current season a little over halfway finished, it doesn’t seem like their feud is going to end anytime soon, which might be a factor when it comes to who will be included in the new season.

Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County continues Monday nights on Bravo.
