Who Is Hayes Grier Of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 21?

Hayes Grier is one of the Season 21 Dancing with the Stars contestants. While many teens are well aware of who Grier is, he probably will be something of an unknown to the general DWTS audience. Just what do people need to know about this new dance contestant?

As Bustle details, Hayes Grier is 15-years-old and has become a social media star alongside his brother Nash. The two brothers started out making Vine videos and now he’s got more than four million followers on the video social media app. Hayes also has nearly three million followers on Twitter, and the brothers have been touring throughout the United States.

Nash and Hayes Grier have been doing a number of DigiFest events over the past few months. Dance Moms fans may recognize the tour name, as former show dancers Chloe Lukasiak and Paige Hyland have been on the tour for quite a few cities as well. The tour brings many of the hottest social media stars together on stage, and fans seem to be loving the events.

Grier will be paired with Emma Slater for DWTS Season 21. This is a different type of pairing for the dancer, who has previously competed with Redfoo, Michael Waltrip, Billy Dee Williams, and Bill Engvall. Will dancing this time around with a young social media star give her an opportunity to make it to the finale? Dancing with the Stars fans have been anxious to see Emma dance with a contender, so viewers will have to tune in to see if Hayes Grier has any moves.

Young DWTS fans will likely wonder if Hayes is single or has a girlfriend. He’s said many times in the past that he is single, and it would appear that this is still the case. From the looks of Grier’s social media posts, he’s having fun so far with his rehearsals, but this type of dance training is quite new to him.

Will Hayes and Emma be serious contenders for the Mirror Ball Trophy this fall on DWTS? Season 21 is shaping up to be quite the entertaining one with the likes of Gary Busey, Paula Deen, Bindi Irwin, and Alek Skarlatos in the mix of things. Hayes Grier definitely has the social media following to make a serious impact on the new season, much like Bethany Mota did in her season with Derek Hough, but will his fans make the effort to vote?
