TSA Agents Accused Of Stealing $7,000 Watch And ‘Patting Down’ The Genitals Of Attractive Passengers

Several employees of the Transportation Security Administration have been exposed for misconduct this week after footage surfaced showing one TSA agent stealing a $7,000 watch and another selectively groping good-looking passengers.

According to the New York Daily News, TSA agent Margo Louree-Grant, age 41, was caught keeping a diamond-encrusted watch for herself after a passenger left it behind at John F. Kennedy International Airport. The passenger forgot the $7,000 watch in the screening bin when passing through the TSA agent checkpoint. Security footage captured Louree-Grant taking the watch from the bin and pocketing it.

When other agents began searching for the expensive watch, Margo Louree-Grant grew so nervous that she took the stolen item into the bathroom and destroyed it. The TSA agent quit her job shortly afterwards, but she has since been arrested and charged with misconduct and grand larceny.

“This kind of thievery will not be tolerated at our airports,” said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.

But Margo Louree-Grant isn’t the only TSA agent caught abusing her position in airport security. According to CBS News, newly released security footage shows another TSA agent scandal involving 27-year-old Ty Spicha and 22-year-old Yasmeen Shafi. While the video only seems to depict Spicha and Shafi doing their job of scanning and patting down passengers, another TSA agent reported the pair for disturbing misconduct.

Yasmeen Shafi was reportedly working to help Spicha grope attractive passengers. Whenever Spicha found a good-looking male passenger, Shafi would trick the machine into identifying him as female. This would confuse the device into finding an anomaly in the male passenger’s genital region, which would allow the other TSA agent, Ty Spicha, to thoroughly pat him down. Essentially, the agents discovered a trick to get away with groping the genitals of attractive passengers.

The TSA launched an investigation into the pair and eventually fired them for misconduct. They described the behavior as “shocking and egregious,” but no criminal charges have been filed against either TSA agent. Not one of the violated passengers has been identified, but Shafi admitted that they used the trick on at least 10 different victims.
