Gwen Stefani Back On ‘The Voice,’ Adam Levine Rooting For Gwen

After a season away, Gwen Stefani has returned to The Voice. The No Doubt pop icon has recently experienced some difficulties in her personal life, but that hasn’t slowed down Stefani’s career one bit. After her and husband Gavin Rossdale called the marriage quits last month, many have speculated that the split is taking a toll on the stylish Holla Back Girl. However, the blonde bombshell appears to be all smiles and enjoying every moment while being back on her comfy red perch on The Voice. A sneak peek offered up by Extra is evidence enough of this.

The 9th season of the show will see a star-studded panel of judges including Stefani, veterans Levine, Shelton, and Williams, and may even involve drop ins by musical powerhouse, Rihanna. Christina Aguilera is sitting out for the season. In Touch Weekly recently shared about the fears that were initially drummed up by talk of a rotating panel. However, the switch up has worked for the hit NBC show. Host Carson Daly relayed views in regards to panel switch ups with the publication, including the switch of Christina for Gwen.

“I think we were scared by it at first because, you know, whenever there was a panel change at [American] Idol or another show I think the public thought that meant there was trouble in paradise. We always felt like we had A-list artists who need to tour. We actually liked fresh blood; we thought it changed up each season. We’re on twice a year too, so it just changes things up a little bit, and look at what we’ve gotten! CeeLo Green is awesome, then we got Usher, now Pharrell.”

Hollywood Outbreak reports that Stefani is extremely happy to be back on the show – one which she never thought she would be a part of in the first place. However, Gwen has admitted that the experience has been one of the best of her life.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is said to want to get Gwen back on the dating scene and help the fellow judge find love again. Contact Music expounds on this.

“The Maroon 5 frontman, who is happily married to model Behati Prinsloo, is reportedly eager to help [Gwen], his ‘The Voice’ USA co-star, get over her recent split from Gavin Rossdale after 13 years of marriage. [Stefani] and the 49-year-old British rocker, who have three sons Kingston, nine, Zuma, seven, and 17-month-old Apollo, announced they were parting ways last month amid speculation they had been ‘living separate lives’ despite their attempts to ‘make it work for their kids.'”
