‘Supernatural’ Season 11 Sneak Peek: The Cast Gives Fans Inside Scoop On The Darkness Ahead

Supernatural fans are waiting for the return of Sam and Dean to their television screens. There is less than a month to go before the Supernatural season 11 premiere, and fans are now being given an extended sneak peek of the upcoming season.

On Saturday, Spoiler TV shared video of an extended sneak peek for Supernatural season 11 released by iTunes. The five-minute clip shows new footage from the upcoming season with new details shared by Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Robert Singer.

During the clip, Padalecki reveals that season 11 will pick up immediately after the end of season 10. Sam and Dean are in the Impala, and the darkness has been unleashed. The preview gives fans a bit of background for the season to come. The premiere will have Sam and Dean finding out what “the darkness” is, and the season will be what comes next after that discovery.

TV Line shared new spoilers about Supernatural season 11 this week, as well. Jeremy Carver gave the news outlet the latest inside scoop on the troubles the Winchester brothers will face once the series returns.

“Remember how executive producer Jeremy Carver teased at Comic-Con that some fan favorite characters will return in Season 11 (premiering Oct. 7), and in surprising ways? It sounds like their reappearance could be tied to the new Big Bad. ‘As responsible as the boys feel for having released The Darkness and how much they personally want to defeat it, they’re not going to be able to do it alone,’ the EP tells TVLine. ‘They’re going to have to confront some figures from their past. They’re going to have to make some unexpected and unholy alliances involving folks from their past, which will have personal ramifications, as well. Because these are some pretty significant figures from their past.'”

Sam and Dean have dealt with a lot of villains during the last 10 years of Supernatural. Who is returning to help them out this season? Fans will need to wait to find out who from their past comes back.

Supernatural is coming back for another season though. The CW has stood behind the series, and it does have many loyal fans. In recent years, the series has bounced from night to night, but this season will see it once again paired up with Arrow on Wednesday nights. That series is getting ready for season 4 with Oliver Queen facing new challenges.

Arrow and Supernatural will both premiere their new season on October 7. What do you think? Are you excited to see what happens next to Sam and Dean Winchester?
