Mick Jagger Ready For SNL Hosting Debut [Video]

Mick Jagger has appeared on Saturday Night Live in the past, but he’s never been the show’s host. That changes tonight as Jagger steps out onto the stage without his Rolling Stone band mates to host SNL tonight.

Jagger will also be the musical guest for tonight’s season finale, but he won’t be joined by the rest of the Rolling Stones. It isn’t clear if the iconic front man will dip into the Rolling Stones catalogue or play songs from his solo career, but he will be playing them with the Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire, and Jeff Beck.

It will be the third time that Jagger has performed as the music act on SNL but it will be his first time hosting.

Are you excited to see Mick Jagger on SNL tonight?

If not, check out these promos from NBC. Jagger and Kristen Wiig (who may be saying goodbye to SNL after tonight’s show) give a few comedic treats leading up to tonight’s show. Jagger show’s off his Australian accent, teaches Wiig to play guitar with “magic,” and learns about his sexual influence over the young comedian.

Here’s the promo for tonight’s SNL.
