Charlie Hunnam Savagely Attacked On Set Of Brad Pitt Movie

Charlie Hunnam was savagely attacked on the set of Brad Pitt’s movie The Lost City of Z by a particularly violent Belfast Wasp.

Hunnam, most famous for playing motorbike outlaw Jax Teller in Sons of Anarchy, was attacked by the surly buzzing insect which apparently made a b-line for the A-list actor and stung the poor thespian indiscriminately and without warning.

Charlie was reportedly so shocked by his encounter with a psychopathic insect that he momentarily lost all control of the same professionalism which has won him the adoration of hordes of female fans worldwide.

To the dismay of onlookers Hunnam allegedly began to fluff his lines before launching into a foul-mouthed tirade at the evil winged beast which had mysteriously appeared as if summoned by some kind of dark magic from the northern Ireland skies.

In the aftermath of the assault, Charlie was immediately rushed to the treatment area, where he was treated with a generous dab of antiseptic on his neck.

Like a true trooper, Hunnam insisted on returning to the site of the incident and bravely insisted on finishing filming with scant regard to his own well-being.

Although the diabolical striped avenger from on high had made off like a bat out of hell soon after the incident, the cast and crew remained on high alert in case the terrible monster returned to inflict further damage on any of the leading actors or actresses.

A source told the Mirror, “Poor Charlie was in mid flow and going well when suddenly he was stung by a bloody wasp.”

“I think it got him in the neck. There was a yell followed by some rather choice words as Charlie tried to work out what had just happened.

“It was a tiny little wasp but it was mean as hell and it went for him – and it got him.

“Fortunately Charlie’s not allergic to insect stings and he got sorted very quickly. But for a moment he lost his lines and filming had to be stopped.

“We’d been warned that there are times filming in Northern Ireland can be a bit dangerous and we’re fine because we aren’t at any risk. But no one mentioned the wasps.

“This one flew in, targeted one of the stars and cleared off sharpish.”

No doubt the little insect had been informed that Brad Pitt was on his way to sort things out pronto!
