Amanda Peet, Husband, & ‘Game Of Thrones’ Plot Twists Intertwined: If Jon Snow Dies, Will They Divorce? [Video]

Amanda Peet, her husband, and Game of Thrones are all mystically connected. Known as an actress, Amanda also has become known recently with regard to the show, because Peet’s husband is David Benioff, one of the Game of Thrones co-creators and showrunners, reported MSN.

Amanda and David tied the knot almost 10 years ago. But Peet wasn’t thrilled with the finale to Game of Thrones’ most recent season. As a result, her feelings toward her husband have changed, she informed Jimmy Kimmel on his show.

“I don’t love him anymore,” said Amanda.

“This is a bombshell,” Kimmel confessed to Peet.

However, the actress explained that she had told her husband about her views on the show regarding the plot twists and turns. Amanda says she specifically cautioned Benioff about her feelings about who he could kill (and not kill) by hitting his keyboard.

“Jon Snow… If you kill him that’s it,” Peet warned her husband.

Possible Spoiler: Although it’s still being debated whether the finale indicated that Snow survived (various views have been offered), Amanda apparently decided that the plot’s changes didn’t follow the guidelines Peet spelled out for her husband.

“[We are] in the process of getting divorced,” said Amanda. “I made him promise me.”

Peet added that she had pleaded with her husband.

“I begged him. He went out with Kit [Harrington] two weeks before the finale.”

When Amanda noticed photos indicating that Harrington had a different hairstyle, she interpreted it as significant in terms of Jon Show’s fate on Games of Thrones.

Therefore, Peet asked her husband to take a selfie, which resulted both in stress relief at Kit’s long hair and a tad of TMI from Amanda.

“My whole marriage blossomed again,” revealed Amanda. “David got laid!”

But the twists to Peet’s influence on her husband don’t stop there, reported Us Weekly.

When Benioff first told his wife about Game of Thrones, she termed it silly, Amanda admitted to Conan O’Brien. The couple, whose children include 7-year-old Frankie, 4-year-old Molly, and 1-month-old Henry, are intertwined, but although Peet told her husband just had terrible the story sounded, he chose to go with the show.

“I thought it was a terrible idea. Terrible. It’s just silly. It’s Dungeons and Dragons but real with real people.”

That was then, and now Amanda has become a true fan, along with others who have watched Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams, Emilia Clarke, and Kit Harrington turn Game of Thrones into an Emmy award winner.

“Now I’m obsessed,” Peet declared.

So much so that she won’t let her husband give her any spoilers.

“I went to my husband’s office to tell him, ‘Can you do the school run?’ or ask him something, and the storyboards were up for the next season, index cards on my left,” Amanda recalled.

She hid her eyes to prevent knowing what lies ahead.

However, many on the internet argue that Jon Snow is not dead, reported Zap2It.

Evidence includes Harrington’s hair, as Amanda noted. Moreover, the “Beautiful Death” Season 5 finale was for Stannis Baratheon.
