Lisa Marie Presley Performs on ‘American Idol,’ Says She Could Never Be A Judge
Lisa Marie Presley looked gorgeous in black Thursday night as she made her very first appearance on American Idol to promote her new record – Storm & Grace.
Lisa Marie, the daughter of Rock N’ Roll icon Elvis Presley, performed her single, You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet, off the new album — her first since 2005 effort Now What — which dropped this past Tuesday.
Watched by her mother Priscilla Presley, daughter Riley Keogh and manager (and Idol creator) Simon Fuller, Lisa Marie seemed to thoroughly enjoy herself on stage as she sang the slow number, which showcased her deep throaty voice.
Although Presley, 44, looked at home on the AI stage, she admitted to US Magazine that she didn’t have what it takes — read, ability to trash a hopeful competitor’s dreams with no visible remorse — to be a judge on the show.
Lisa said:
“I don’t have it in me to want to or to be able to judge other people when they are trying to create or be creative or artistic. I don’t know if I have the heart to do it. I would be more of an encouraging one if I did though. I’ll tell you that.”
Besides Presley, Idol’s season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert (who lost to Kris Allen) also performed on the show, singing his new single Never Close Our Eyes.

she got her dads cheek bones…but not much else…her voice is alright…but bless her heart she has NO stage presence what so ever…she acted so uncomfortable on stage that I felt uncomfortable watching her…based on that I wouldn't buy her CD.

I think she is with the wrong Michael.
They were slamming MJ left/right. They
aren't touching Lockwood or others at all. The world
is a stage to some sick group of people that are very
involved with the media. How does it work she just
became a British citizen and moved to England? Maybe
she's invaded England like the beatles invaded America?
Does that make sense to anyone out there? She should have
put Presley in her kids names. The names are long enough
why doesn't she make them even longer? She keeps the Presley
name. She doesn't change her last name.

Yeah got the nerve to slam MJ… Look at her self.He keeps the Presley name for fame.. She's just a lil rich spoiled brat with$$$$$$. She thought she could control MJ, then slammed the hell out of him in interviews!! Truth is she was chasing him all over the country!!! Then when he passed she got on Oprah with a different tune!!!Doesn't she think people remember her lies and inconsistencies? Let her stay in England!!!

All she has is looks. She needs to open her mouth more(you can hardly hear her voice)and move around a little and not stand there like a mummy. Maybe she is afraid she will actually sound like her dad. So what, that's a compliment!
