Luann de Lesseps Still Feels Trampled On After ‘RHONY’ Finale

Luann de Lesseps always tries to put on her Countess façade on The Real Housewives of New York, and she wants to be known as a classy lady. But Luann was caught with a French man when the ladies were on a cast trip a few years ago. And that night got her in trouble with her then-boyfriend, Jacques. But de Lesseps claims that she isn’t the kind of person who sleeps around, even though her co-stars say something else.

And now that Luann de Lesseps is single, she can technically do whatever she wants. But she doesn’t want to be held accountable. When Andy Cohen decided to confront her about the “girl code” situation, de Lesseps revealed that she felt trampled on when the ladies ran into her room and confronted her about bringing home a man.

According to a new Bravo report, Luann de Lesseps is now revealing that she understood why she was being confronted. But Luann wasn’t happy with it.

“I understood what Andy meant when he said that when ‘you are surrounded by cameras’ it’s hard to keep what happens in the Turks and Caicos in the Turks and Caicos … I get it. What I don’t understand is why Heather and Carole didn’t respect my privacy enough to knock on my door and wait for a reply before barging in that morning. That’s not what good girlfriends do. It’s better to make up and move on, and that is what I did with Heather, which in turn became a Housewives’ hug-fest …not a bad note to end on,” Luann de Lesseps explains after being confronted by Andy Cohen.

Even though De Lesseps was upset with the ladies, she did feel like she could hold on to the friendships she made on The Real Housewives of New York. Even though Luann may not make peace with Carole Radziwill, de Lesseps did express gratitude for the other friendships she has made.

“That’s a wrap! Season 7 had it all … we laughed, we cried and in the end, we hugged it out. Never before have I left a season feeling so good about my friendships with the other ladies. Life is too short to hold a grudge, and I’m glad that I leave this season in a good place with most of the girls. We showed everyone that it is possible for women to hold each other up rather than tear each other down, and we all went out to dinner after and toasted to a great season,” Luann reveals, hinting that she can still walk away from this season with friendships.
