WWE News: WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt Dealing With An Injury?
Bray Wyatt is arguably the most underrated and underappreciated wrestler in the WWE. He hasn’t had a WWE championship reign and he’s never even won a championship in the WWE, yet he had a match with the Undertaker at WrestleMania 31. Wyatt also worked brilliant feuds with John Cena, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns.
Right now on WWE TV, Wyatt is still entrenched in a feud with Ambrose and Reigns. Their match at SummerSlam was dubbed as “family vs. family.” Before WWE Raw last week, it was still two-on-two. Then, Braun Strowman debuted and turned the tables on the former Shield members.
Strowman is effectively doing more than one act at the same time. He’s attempting to become the next beast of the WWE. Just so Brock Lesnar doesn’t get offended, Strowman is the full-time monster WWE needed. He’s also going to help Bray Wyatt ascend into the main card for the first time.
Before any of this happens, all of the Wyatt Family has to be healthy. According to E-Wrestling News, Bray Wyatt isn’t wrestling as much on WWE TV for a specific reason.
“WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair mentioned on the latest WOOOOO! Nation podcast that Bray Wyatt has been dealing with a shoulder injury.
“Wyatt has not wrestled much in recent weeks. He did not wrestle on this past Monday’s RAW but did work a street fight with Roman Reigns at Tuesday’s SmackDown TV taping.”
WWE must be careful with Wyatt, so they can utilize the most out of him during this big push on television. Bringing in Braun Strowman added a new element to the Wyatt Family and their new direction. Right now, it’s three-on-two in their feud with Reigns and Ambrose. There’s not even a rumor about both men adding a third member to their family.
Strowman’s debut should help Wyatt get to that main card level the WWE fans want him to get to. The fact that he hasn’t won any championship in the WWE isn’t practical, but Wyatt is a future WWE World Heavyweight champion. If Sheamus can win the Money in the Bank briefcase, Wyatt can be the frontman in the WWE.
With Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Strowman, the Wyatt Family is the most dominant faction in the WWE. On WWE Raw this past Monday, Strowman faced Ambrose in a singles match. Strowman won by DQ, but he dominated Reigns and Ambrose after the match. They are calling him the new face of destruction. Is the Wyatt Family’s black sheep the answer for Wyatt’s future?
